About Instructors

Administrators can create instructors and assign to them one or more courses they are qualified to teach. You can also auto-populate the instructor list with LMS users who are currently assigned as instructors for classroom sessions.

Having an up-to-date list of instructors and their qualified courses enables you to create scheduled events, such as new classroom sessions, and assign the qualified instructors to them. You can assign instructors to a session from the Catalog Editor, Resource Planner, and from the Schedule tab of the Instructor detail page.

Instructors are defined by the courses they are qualified to teach. You can remove instructors from the list by editing their qualified courses.

To manage instructors, your user role must have unrestricted access to the Class Resource Manager feature in System Roles (Manage Features > Catalog Manager Features). 

To manage instructors go to Manage Center > Learning > Instructors.
