About the Screen Layout Manager

System administrators can use the Screen Layout Manager to manage skins in the LMS. Skins customize the LMS's appearance and navigation, and can be assigned a Widget page template. Skins are referred to as layouts in the Screen Layout Manager.

You can:

To access the Screen Layout Manager, you must have a system role with unrestricted access to the Screen Layout Manager feature in System Roles (Manage Features > System Administration). Roles with read-only access to the Screen Layout Manager feature can only export skins to a ZIP file.

Newer LMS pages built with the responsive design system introduced in PeopleFluent Learning 15.3 cannot be skinned. Where a new version of an existing page is available, users with the Enable new UI setting in their profile set to Yes will be redirected to the new version when navigating using the menu system. When enabling new UI, you are recommended to switch to the default PeopleFluent_LMS_Default skin, which provides a more consistent user experience between new and legacy UI pages.

To manage your LMS skins, go to Manage Center > System > Screen Layout Manager.
