Training centers represent a physical location with associated collections of facilities and rooms. Catalog administrators can associate a map with a training center, which learners can download from the LMS (for example, in the Knowledge Center).
Catalog administrators can also associate a training center with a holiday calendar, which can be used to determine when the training center is unavailable.
When you configure the class schedule for a classroom session, selecting a training center enables you to book the facilities available there, and see any non-available dates defined in the holiday calendar. Shared resources can be added from other training centers also, not just the one where the classroom training is taking place.
Like other LMS objects, training centers have permissions that determine who can view and edit them. To manage training centers, your user role must have unrestricted access to the Class Resource Manager feature in System Roles (Manage Features > Catalog Manager Features).
To manage training centers, go to Manage Center > Learning > Training Centers, where you can create, edit, delete and set access permissions for training centers. You can only edit and set permissions for training centers you have created or for which you have unrestricted access.
