Deactivate a System Language

When you deactivate a system language, any LMS objects it was assigned to default back to US English. 

Administrators with unrestricted access to the System Language Activation feature in System Roles (Manage Features > System Administration) can deactivate system languages. 

To deactivate a system language

  1. Go to Manage Center > System > System Language Activation. The System Language Activation page opens with a list of the current activated languages.
  2. Select Deactivate from the action menu of the language you want to deactivate.
  3. Click OK to confirm the deactivation. The language is removed from the list of active system languages.
