The Auto-Enroll Console tab has two sections in which you configure when the LMS scans for users to automatically enroll in sessions with auto-enrollment criteria. Administrators with unrestricted access to the Auto-Enroll Console feature in System Roles (Manage Features > Catalog Manage Features) can enable and disable auto-enroll scanning.
At login, a check is typically made against course auto-enroll criteria if the criteria or user has changed since the previous check. The options on this page enable you to ensure that new checks are done at a guaranteed interval, even if there are no obvious changes.
To open the Auto-Enroll Console tab, go to Manage Center > Learning > Auto-Enroll Console > Auto-Enroll Console tab.
Turn on Online/Login Auto-Enroll
To enable auto-enroll scanning, select the Turn on Online/Login Auto-Enroll check box. You can then select an option from the drop-down list to specify when the LMS checks user accounts against auto-enroll criteria:
Changing this option will impact the criteria check needed time stamp of every course. You can cause a new scan check for a specific course by updating the selection criteria in the Auto-Enroll Properties for a session. Likewise, you can cause a specific user to be scanned again by updating any of their properties in the User Editor. Both of these actions reset time stamps for individual users or courses.
Select the Enable online SubModule handling check box to also scan for auto-enrollments into sub-modules as part of currently enrolled programs. If not enabled, this process will still run as part of the Auto Enroll Offline Sub-module Scan daily task (unless offline auto-enrollment is deactivated).
Turn on Offline Bulk Auto-Enroll
Offline auto-enroll will enable users who have not logged in to be scanned and enrolled in courses (and notified by email). This option is turned off by default as it can impact system performance. Of the following options, PeopleFluent recommends the trickle option, which processes batches of approximately 1/30 of the active users on a daily basis, with all users scanned over a one month period.
The following options are available:
