Create a Category

Catalog administrators can use categories to group courses. After creating a new category, you will need to configure its permissions if you want other administrators to be able to use it to categorize courses in the Catalog Editor.

To create a category

  1. Go to Manage Center > Learning > Categories. The Categories page opens.
  2. Click + Create Category. The Create Category dialog opens.
  3. Enter a name for the new category and click Save. The category is added to the list in the Categories page.
