Create an Assessment Workflow Template

Course administrators can create an assessment workflow template to assign one or more pre- or post-course assessments to participants, instructors or direct appraisers. Participants and instructors access assessments from the course Knowledge Center. Direct appraisers access assessments from the Supervisor Assessments page.

To create an assessment workflow

1. Go to Manage Center > Learning > Assessment Workflow Manager. The Assessment Workflow Manager page opens, showing the existing workflow assessment templates.
2. Click + Create Assessment Workflow. The page refreshes. 
3. Enter a name for the assessment workflow template. This is the name shown in the Workflow Template drop-down lists when assigning a workflow template to a session, organization or logical domain.
4. Click the Add exam/evaluation link. 
5. Click the browse icon to select an assessment. The Assessment selector opens in a new window.
6. Select whether the user will be notified to complete the assessment pre- or post-course.
7. Select the date from which the assessment will be available to the users. This is defined by the number of days before or after the course start or end date.
8. Select the recipient of the reminder email to complete the assessment. This can be course participants, instructors or the participants' direct appraisers.
9. Click the browse icon to select the email template used to send the reminder email. Reminder emails are sent only to users that have not completed the assigned exam or evaluation. Reminder emails are sent until the exam is completed or it is past the expiry date, whichever comes first.
10. Specify the frequency to send the reminder email after the date the assessment becomes available to access.
11. Repeat steps 4 to 10 to add more assessments to the workflow template.
12. Click Save.
13. Click Permissions to configure the assessment workflow template's access permissions. You must provide read-only access to administrators who you want to be able to assign the workflow template to sessions, organizations or logical domains.

Permissions
