Update an Exam Pool

When you update an exam pool you can rename it and select an automatic exemption policy for it. Before selecting an exemption policy, you must select the program or module sessions for exemption for one or more question pools, and configure the exemption policy. 

Administrators with unrestricted access to the Exam Utilities feature in System Roles (Manage Features > Exam Manager Features) can update exam pools.

To update an exam pool

  1. Go to Manage Center > Learning > Exam Pools Manager. The Exam Pools Manager page opens.
  2. Select the exam pool from the drop-down lists.
  3. Click Update for the pool you want to update. The Edit Exam Pools page opens.
  4. Enter a new name, if required.
  5. To apply an automatic exemption policy to exams in the pool, select it from the drop-down list.
  6. Click Submit.
