About Question Attributes

You can create question attributes to help categorize questions for reporting and to use as criteria for selecting questions for a randomized exam section. Question attributes are exported with other question data when questions are exported to a CSV file, and can be imported via the Question CSV Loader.

Question attributes can be any of the following data types, which determine what type of values can be assigned to them:

Free text (a single line of text up to 255 characters)
Text area (multiple lines of text)
Drop-down (select the value from a list)
Numeric (In PeopleFluent Learning versions up to and including 21.04, fractional numbers less than 1 must start with a zero; for example, 0.75, not .75).
Check box
Date (a calendar tool to select a date)

Question attributes are shown in the Question Editor's Administration tab for all questions but they are visible only to LMS users who have been given read-only or unrestricted permission to them.

Administrators with read-only or unrestricted access to the Exam and Question Manager feature and unrestricted access to the Question Attributes feature in System Roles (Manage Features > Exam Manager Features) can configure question attributes.

To configure question attributes, go to Manage Center > Learning > Question Attributes.
