Delete a News Article

When you delete a news article, it is removed from the News widget and News fly-out panel (in the new UI) for all users in its target audience. It is also removed from the list in the News Articles page in the Manage Center.

You can delete a news article only if you have unrestricted access permission for it. You must also have read-only access to the Communicate Menu feature in System Roles (Learner-Oriented Features > Learn Features) to manage news articles. 

To delete a news article

  1. Go to Manage Center > Communicate > News Articles. The News Articles page opens with a list of previously configured news articles.
  2. Select Delete from the action menu  of the news article you want to delete. 
  3. Click OK in the confirmation dialog.
