Create a Question

You create questions in the Question Editor. Administrators with read-only or unrestricted access to the Exam and Question Manager feature and unrestricted access to the Questions feature in System Roles (Manage Features > Exam Manager Features) can create questions.

The details you configure for questions vary for the different question types. For more information, see Question Types.

You must click the Save icon each time you update one of the Question Editor tabs before selecting another tab.

To create a question

  1. Go to Manage Center > Learning > Questions. The Exam and Question Manager page opens at the Questions tab.
  2. Click + Create Question. The Question Editor opens.
  3. Enter the question ID.
  4. Select the question type from the drop-down list.
  5. Select the question pool level to assign the question to.
  6. Click Create. The Details tab opens in the Question Editor.
  7. Enter the question details and click the Save icon. The other Question Editor tabs are shown.
